An opportunity for an experienced insurance assessing team leader to join an innovative Australian company. You will be leading an experienced group of assessors.

The opportunity:

  • Leading a team of experienced Desktop Assessors
  • Based in Head Office you will lead and drive completion of a portfolio of property claims. 
  • Oversee and supervise the work activity, coaching and development of the team.
  • Measure and drive team performance.
  • You will communicate with Policyholders, Insurance Clients, Trade Repair Partners and coordinate rectification of the property. 
  • Investigate and respond to any client issues immediately and escalations. 
  • You will have the opportunity to further develop your skills in project management, problem solving and relationship building.  

About You

  • 5+ Building industry experience, preferably in a similar role
  • Experienced Team Leader with proven results
  • Background in insurance claims 
  • Leadership qualities
  • Excellent customer service and problem solving skills   
  • Efficient time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously as a strong team member
  • Strong working knowledge of building and construction 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Competent using a computer (e.g. word, excel, outlook)
  • Attention to detail
  • Highly organised individual
  • Positive attitude
  • Energetic
  • Strong Ability to build rapport with clients and the team
